1 The registered office of the
Organization will be situated in the Republic of Uganda.
2The objects for which the Organization
is established are:-
(a) To
preach the Gospel and to found national churches and to develop them into
local, self-supported assemblies.
(b) To
transmit, propagate and communicate the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to the
public at large, churches, students at Universities, College, School and other
academic institutions by means of public meetings, lectures, assemblies,
interviews and personal conversations; by television, sound broadcasting,
cinematography film, leaflets, gramophone recording, recitals and by pamphlets,
news sheets, books, poster, magazines, periodicals, advertising and all other
literary matter calculated to advance the objects set forth above and generally
to spread the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to students and others by all and
any other means whatsoever
(c) To
care for sick people by means of dispensaries and maternity wards of the
Organization in conjunction with the approval of the appropriate authorities.
(d) To
establish, operate, conduct or organize schools with a view to providing
general education to the public at large.
(e) To
promote general knowledge and encourage educational work and to spread
Christian literature through Bible correspondence courses and bookshops and
promote other charitable functions within the framework of the Constitution.
(f) To
require and own lands in order to service the above stated objects and to sell
or in any other ways dispose of the so acquired lands.
(g) To
establish conduct, expand and operate and look after such institutions of
charity and orphanages, old age, missionary rest homes, the disabled and
destitute. In executing this duty, the Organization shall raise money by way of
contributions may be in form of money or goods.
(h) To
undertake and executive any charitable trusts, which may lawfully be undertaken
by the Organization as may be determined from time to time.
(i) To
help those who become Christians to grow toward spiritual maturity.
(j) Carrying
out agricultural activities with a view to generating enough incomes and food
for the needy population.
